We hadn't planned to stop in La Paz, but we needed a park permit for some of the islands to the north that we wanted to visit. Turns out, La Paz is a really fun place. We filled up with margaritas, groceries and diesel here before heading north to the islands. The winds were forecasted to be extremely high in a couple of days, so we needed to get out of La Paz before they would eventually close the port. So it was a pretty short pause here.
